Connecticut Master Chorale Fall 2007 Concert
"Murray Mast on
steel drums got everyone's attention for sure in a couple of calypso Christmas carols, with bass soloist Edwin Kotchian
sounding good in 'Mary's Little Boy Child.' These were the big crowd pleasers of the day."

General Review
"The best way to describe my impression
of Edwin Kotchian would be to mention his dedication and unconditional love for music.
Mr. Kotchian is a six-foot tall
bass-baritone with a rich, deep, warm, and powerful yet unforced sound. Those wonderful qualities have already proved
that he is a rising star who needs to be closely watched.
His repertoire is full of variety, from Broadway musicals to
opera, from popular standards to Baroque songs. He's a true perfectionist and would never let the slightest mistake
slip away from his attention.
Mr. Kotchian is always extremely focused on what he is doing and spends so much time studying.
Those are just two reasons why he has accomplished so much at such a young age. He's honest, sincere, easy-going,
cooperative, reserved, and has a great sense of humor. He's one of the most hard-working individuals that I've
ever known.
Bravo Mr. Kotchian!"
